with Red Backpack
Firechief®’s car fire blankets are flame retardant and control any type of car fire within seconds. Suitable for use on most cars, including SUVs and off-road cars, they are manufactured from fibreglass and covered with a polymer on both sides. For safety reasons, they incorporate 6 grips for correct placement and the intervention of at least 2 people is recommended.
The Firechief® car fire blanket includes a textile storage bag for easy transportation and storage.
In electric vehicles, the blanket reduces toxic waste gases and prevents the fire from spreading to other parts of the vehicle. In other vehicles, the fire blanket suffocates the fire as quickly as possible, preventing the fire from spreading to other vehicles, buildings, and structures.

How it works.
Easy to store and deploy, Firechief Lithium-ion Fire Blankets are the most efficient way to slow down and isolate lithium battery fires. Used in a variety of applications, from consumer electronics to industrial and military systems, these fire blankets are suitable for all types of industry.
Lithium battery fire blankets offer an effective and safe method of handling a fire involving a lithium-ion battery so you can keep it under control to prevent it from escalating and spreading until the fire brigade arrive. Where you have large quantities of rechargeable devices, or large lithium batteries, you should consider being prepared with lith-ex fire extinguishers.
Lithium-ion batteries present a more frequent fire hazard each day as the number of consumer and industrial goods powered by them increases. Firechief Lith-Ex Fire Extinguishers are suited to confined spaces where fires need to be suppressed in their infancy before developing into a fully established fire. They can also be used to protect against fires where batteries are under charge and where batteries are stored, for example, goods distribution, battery collection bins, battery recycling locations, public services, and battery charging stations.
