Risk Assessments has been developed to identify hazards and to reduce the risk of those hazards causing harm. It will also help to determine what fire safety measures and management policies are necessary to ensure the safety of people in the building, should a fire occur.
A thorough, up-to-date Fire Risk Assessment not only represents the foundation for a robust fire safety procedure but under the Regulatory Reform Act (Fire Safety) Order 2005 (England and Wales) for all premises to have a risk assessment carried out.
